RIYADH, 19 February 2006 — The Riyadh chapter of the Master Builders Association of the Philippines (MBAP-Architects) has a new set of officers.
Elected during the chapter’s recent annual gathering at the White Palace Hotel were Chris Sotero as president, Daniel Vallestero as executive vice president, Julmino Sappal as vice president for internal affairs, Jove Maraño as VP external affairs, and Ronnie Sacueza as secretary-general.
Also elected were: Cheno Consul as treasurer; Ariel Castro, assistant treasurer; Arnold Cumigad, auditor; Jorge Veranga, business manager; Alex Borlaza and Wilmer Giron, public information officers; and Rosenel Derain and Leonardo Po, peace and order officers.
The members of the Board of Trustees are: Edward Bangunan, Russel Amory dela Cruz, Asiddin Arabain, Enrico Mendoza, Avelino Adal, Bien Valencerina, Victorio Banaag, Ronaldo Francisco, Abulkhair Amerol and Rene Rigos. Dela Cruz is also the ex-officio adviser.
The group is hosting the 2006 sports program for the Alliance of Filipino Professionals (AFP) in Riyadh, whose major activities include a one-day bowling tournament starting Feb. 24, 8:30 a.m. at the Intercontinental Hotel.
