RIYADH, 28 February 2006 — Chairman of the Saudi Research and Marketing Group Prince Faisal Bin Salman chaired the ninth meeting of the Financial Resources Development Committee that serves the Insan Orphanage Charitable Institution in the Kingdom’s capital. The meeting was held in Prince Faisal’s office yesterday.
Members of the committee reviewed Fahd ibn Abdul Rahman Al-Tayash’s donation of 6,470 square meters of land to the institution. Abdul Elah ibn Saeed was assigned to study how the land can be developed to profit the institution’s charitable works.
Prince Faisal, who is the chairman of the Resources Development Committee, thanked Al-Tayash for his generous donation.
The meeting addressed the funding of social services and the implementation of investment programs and projects. The committee’s members also looked into several reports that discussed the endowment premises and what has been accomplished in the last couple of months.
Prince Faisal emphasized the importance of accomplishing this financial aspect of the project quickly because it will be an important funding mechanism for the committee’s charitable works.
The Insan Orphanage Charitable Institution takes care of orphans with special needs.
Prince Faisal advised the committee members to institute a special project for encouraging placement of orphans into adoptive families where they would receive a lot of attention and care in a family environment.
