A Great Change in My Life

Elders tell, and I also feel that I am lazy,

But for food, T.V., rest and sleep, I am crazy.

I go to bed early and wake up late,

Often miss the school bus, that is my fate.

My love for laziness keeps my homework half done,

Teachers scold me and class-fellows make my fun.

I always feel sleepy, while the teacher is teaching,

And my mind moves a little on anyone’s preaching.

I lost interest in studies, work and also in game,

My friends feel very bad, and put me to blame.

I want to get rid of this habit, but always in vain,

“God helps those who help themselves” advice came from a sane.

These magic words gave me courage to think and strength to act,

I am no more the same lazy girl, since I realized this great fact!!!
