JEDDAH, 5 November 2006 — Police in Jeddah solved the mystery disappearance of 15 computers from Jeddah airport, Al-Watan newspaper reported yesterday. Police received a complaint about the disappearance of 15 machines from an office at Jeddah International Airport. Following investigations, police arrested three janitors that had been stealing the machines after office hours. The computers were found at their home.
40,000 Narcotic Pills Seized in Arar
ARAR, 5 November 2006 — Anti-drug police in Arar, northern Saudi Arabia, arrested two men who had 40,000 narcotic pills with them at a service station on the Arar to Al-Jouf highway, Al-Watan newspaper reported yesterday. The two drug dealers had received the drugs from smugglers that had entered the Kingdom from a neighboring country through a border point. The drug dealers were trying to distribute the drugs in the northern areas of Kingdom.
Four Caught Stealing Power Cables
RIYADH, 5 November 2006 — Riyadh police arrested four people including three overstayers in relation to the theft of electricity cables, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported. Police received reports from various farmers in the area that electricity cables at their farms had been stolen. Police searched the area and arrested the four men who were trying to steal more cables in the middle of the night.
