RIYADH, 11 May 2006 — The Institution of Engineers, Pakistan, Saudi Arabian Center (IEP-SAC) will organize a symposium, “The Digital Divide and the Saudi Telecom Sector”, at Prince Salman Social Center today.
Ibrahim Kadi, senior adviser at the Communications & Information Technology Commission (CITC), will speak at the event.
S. Saleem, an IEP spokesman, said the organization operating in Riyadh since 1991, seeks to spread engineering know-how and knowledge among its members in particular and also among the people of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in general.
