RIYADH, 18 May 2006 — Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received Brazilian Ambassador Isnard Penha Brasil Jr. and a delegation accompanying him at his office here yesterday. Their discussion covered bilateral relations, and social and economic issues of their respective countries.
Also on the agenda were investment opportunities in the petrochemicals industry and mineral mining to strengthen investment co-operation between the two countries. The Brazilian ambassador commended Prince Alwaleed on his efforts in all fields, especially on the humanitarian and economic front.
The meeting was also attended by Ahmad bin Fahad Altobaishi, assistant executive to the chairman; Heba Fatani, executive manager, corporate communications department; P.J Shoucair, executive director, international investments; and Lameis Almouhandis and Roaa Sharaf from the Protocol department at KHC.
