JEDDAH, 2 June 2006 — Dreams come true and hopes are dashed as Pepsi’s global TV program, the Pepsi World Challenge, comes to a dramatic conclusion on MBC at 7 p.m. tomorrow. In this final installment, two young footballers will be announced as The Pepsi World Challenge Champions 2006.

Over the past five weeks we have watched the incredible individual journeys of 22 young footballers from 11 countries across the globe. Each week we have witnessed their emotional highs and crushing lows as each participant encountered both team and individual success or failure in The Pepsi World Challenge.

In the most explosive episode yet, watch as each of the 11 countries goes head to head in a fast and furious 2 on 2 indoor football tournament in the grassroots arena of world super-club, AC Milan. Coping under pressure is key as at the end of this penultimate test, the three pairs with the most points from all the challenges will go through to the final. Here, one team will walk away with the life-changing $100,000 cash prize.

Throughout the episode, distinguished veteran Brazil and AC Milan midfielder, Leonardo, is on hand to guide and coach the players through this arduous challenge.

Next up we move from the indoor arena to the splendor of the San Siro stadium, AC Milan’s home ground, to witness the drama of a penalty shootout between the remaining three pairs of young footballers.

It’s a game of precision and smart tactics as record-breaking, former AC Milan goalkeeper Sebastiano Rossi takes center stage in the goal. As the fans at San Siro stadium take to their feet prior to kick-off at the AC Milan vs. Treviso match, the thousands of fans hold their breath as the final six players take to the field.
