JEDDAH, 7 August 2006 — Over a full month, STC, the official main exclusive partner of Jeddah Summer Festival “Jeddah Ghair 1427,” recorded a remarkable support for the various summer activities in Jeddah.
Through different festivity events held in different parts of Jeddah recently, STC directly interacted with a large number of citizens and residents of the Western Province as well as visitors to the city during the vacation season.
As the official exclusive partner of the Jeddah Summer Festival this year, STC played a key role in serving local tourism and festival events. Saad ibn Dhafer Al-Qahtani, STC general manager for media relations and marketing support, said: “Our involvement in Jeddah’s summer events is not a new initiative to support tourism in the Kingdom. The company has always been active in sponsoring and supporting various tourism activities, particularly in Asir, Baha, Taif and Jeddah.”
He added: “Our involvement on the national side was reactivated and enhanced following the privatization of the company seven years ago. However, what distinguishes this year from past years is STC’s role as an exclusive partner in all activities.”
