JEDDAH, 19 September 2006 — Saturday, Sept. 23, will be a holiday for employees working in the private sector to mark the Kingdom’s National Day, Ahmed Al-Zamil, deputy minister for labor affairs, announced yesterday. He said higher authorities have issued an order in this respect.
On Sunday, Minister of Civil Service Muhammad Ali Al-Fayez said Sept. 23 would be an official holiday for all government employees.
