DUBAI, 30 September 2006 — International Property Show (IPS), the annual trade exhibition for international and Middle East property markets, will be held from April 3-5, at the Dubai International Exhibition Center, according to Strategic Marketing and Exhibitions, which is organizing the event.

Dawood Al-Shezawi, managing director, Strategic Marketing, said, “Dubai continues to be the region’s most strategically important venue for property and real estate exhibitions, given the emirate’s prominence as a business and tourist destination. The IPS has established itself as one of the most sought-after property exhibitions in the region, and we’re pleased that each year the show is attracting a larger number of exhibitors. We expect a 35 percent growth for the 2007 edition of show compared to 2006, which has led us to significantly extend the exhibition area at the venue.”

Already exhibitors from 15 countries including the UK, Germany, South Africa, India, Spain, Turkey, Bahrain, France, and Malaysia have confirmed their participation in IPS 2007, with several more expected to register in the coming weeks.

A significant percentage of exhibitors who took part in the 2006 edition of the show in February have also confirmed their presence for the upcoming event, which underlines the show’s success and popularity.

The IPS features exciting projects from across the world including commercial property, shopping, leisure and entertainment centers, high and low-density residential apartments and villa developments, resorts and hotels, trade zones, special-purpose developments and land development.

The underlying objective of the show is to bring together regional and international exhibitors, property developers, financiers, real estate agents and consultants, designers and others involved in the real estate industry in the UAE, the Arab world and other thriving real estate markets of the world.

Since the show will be held during the International Property Week, visitors and participants can also benefit from a series of industry-related workshops, seminars, and conferences that will be held at the venue.
