Overstayers Fight, Get Arrested and Deported

WADI AL-DAWASER, 31 October 2006 — A fistfight between two expatriates landed them in the hands of local authorities who soon discovered that both men were illegal overstayers, the Okaz daily reported yesterday. One of the men had assaulted the other who was then taken to a local hospital. Police were called and following an investigation, it soon became apparent that both of the men were living in the Kingdom illegally. The police officers placed both men under arrest and deported them the following morning to their respective countries.
