JEDDAH, 19 October 2006 — Motorola has drawn up plans to increase its presence in the Saudi mobile market. “Our mobiles are very much present across the Kingdom, but we’re going ahead with a plan to further boost our presence in the local and regional market,” Motorola Arabia’s Riyadh-based General Manager Dr. Walid Romman told Arab News on Tuesday.
Motorola, one of the global leaders in wireless communications, unveiled its “hottest portfolio to date” with a kaleidoscope of cutting-edge mobile devices and accessories that is aimed to set new standards in “what’s hot” for consumers across the Kingdom. At the iftar launch of its new range of mobiles, Motorola showcased a new line-up designed for style, ease-of-use and seamless communications. Dr. Romman and Haitham Badaoui, national sales manager, Motorola Mobile Devices, highlighted the color, music, form and functional elements that together make up the “world’s most enviable” new handset range. The Middle East is currently undergoing a period of artistic, cultural and personal expression that enables people to express themselves through the color and form of their communications devices and helps define their individual style, Badaoui said.
