He was welcomed by Prince Saud ibn Thunayan, chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and SABIC, Mohamed Al-Mady, SABIC vice chairman and CEO, and senior officials. The prime minister and his delegation listened to a presentation on the achievements of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and its role in developing and converting the two industrial cities to the latest global industrial centers which encompass essential advanced facilities.
DWC to Have Executive Jet Center
DUBAI, 27 November 2006 — Dubai World Central (DWC), the urban aviation community taking shape at Jebel Ali in Dubai, is to have a dedicated executive jet center (EJC), which will be among the industry’s best competing with Van Nuys in California, Teterboro in New York, Le Bourget in France and Farnborough in the UK. Sama Launches Dubai Towers
DUBAI, 27 November 2006 — Sama Dubai, the real estate development and investment arm of Dubai Holding yesterday announced the launch of “Dubai Towers — Dubai”, a cluster of breath-taking towers that combine to form a truly inspiring and dynamic sculpture. The project will comprise four state-of-the-art towers for residential, commercial, retail and hospitality purposes. Ranging between 57 to 94 floors, the estimated date of completion of the complex is mid 2010. Launched under the “Dubai Towers” brand of Sama Dubai, the iconic structures will feature a choreographed concept of form and function to metaphorically represent the movement of candle light.
