JEDDAH, 22 December 2006 — Al-Nasr lost the second match in the first leg Group B quarterfinal in the Arab Champions League against Al-Faisali of Jordan 1-0 in Jordan yesterday.
Al-Faisali were dangerous most of the time during the match and managed to limit Nasr movement to their midfield. After many unsuccessful attempts by Al-Faisali to score an early goal, the goal of the match came in the 87th minute of the second half from a fine header by Muaied Abu Kushk on the right hand side of the goalie Muhammad Al-Khojaly.
Nasr goalkeeper saved many dangerous attempts by Jordanian strikers to score. He could not bear the responsibility at goal because the defenders could not guard Abu Kushk properly.
