Pakistanis Save Drowning Child

RAFHA, 11 March 2007 — Two Pakistani workers rescued a three-year-old Saudi child after he fell into a water tank whose lid was not closed properly, the daily Al-Watan reported yesterday. The child was playing with his friends when he plunged into an underground tank. Hearing the cries for help, the two workers dove into the hole to rescue the child from drowning. The child had to be taken to hospital but is reported to be in stable condition.
