Pizza Inn Embarks on Expansion Plan

RIYADH, 16 March 2007 — As part of its celebrations to mark the 15th year of its operation in Saudi Arabia, Pizza Inn has announced a major promotion under which it is giving away a free pizza on every purchase. All Pizza Inn outlets are participating in this celebration during which many surprise gifts will also be given to customers, who can answer simple questions like how many outlets Pizza Inn have in the Kingdom.

“These offers are good value at affordable prices for the entire family,” said Khushru Mistry, general manager of United Food Company, which is a division of the Abdulla Abunayyan Group and Pizza Inn master licensee for Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Pizza Inn, which opened its first restaurant in 1991, has embarked on an ambitious expansion plan. Also, the United Food Company, master franchise of Pizza Inn International, is the fastest-growing restaurant company in the Kingdom.

Referring to the growth of the company, Mistry said that “Pizza Inn has opened 10 new Pizza Inn outlets in the last six months alone.” “With a population of 25 million people, a strong national infrastructure and a growing working class, we are excited to continue promoting the Pizza Inn brand in Saudi Arabia.” Also, a recent in-house survey rated Pizza Inn as the most trusted Quickservice restaurant company in Saudi Arabia, he noted.

“The rating reflects the passion, the hard work, the dedication of our management and above all the exceptional customer services provided in our restaurants,” said Rajendra Shah, Pizza Inn’s head of marketing. Shah said that “Pizza Inn Carry Out & Delivery Service” caters to the needs of a growing segment of consumers. “It further underscores our commitment to growth in key markets both domestically and abroad, and creates an enormous opportunity for us to recruit new franchisees in Middle East, Asia & the rest of the world,” said Shah.

“Hence, we would also like to invite interested business groups to seize this opportunity and start Pizza Inn franchisee in their respective locations,” said the marketing chief.
