MAKKAH, 22 March 2007 — Police arrested two Saudi fraudsters in their 30s, who were running a series of scams in which many people fell victim. The two men would randomly telephone people and ask them if they own their homes and if so would offer construction services costing up to SR30,000. On receipt of payment, the two men would not deliver their services. The two fraudsters had also rented an office and claimed they were employed by a respectable Makkah citizen.
