HYDERABAD, India, 23 May 2007 — Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy yesterday reviewed the progress of the investigations in the Makkah Masjid bomb blast case even as a team of experts from the National Security Guards have reported a striking similarity between Hyderabad and Malegaon blasts. Reddy held a detailed review with Home Minister K. Jana Reddy, Director General of Police M.A. Basith, Additional DGP (Law & Order) A.K. Mohanty, Hyderabad City Commissioner of Police Balwinder Singh and other top officials on the leads and clues obtained so far. A team of experts from National Bomb Data Center of National Security Guards (NSG) who studied the May 18 blast site at Makkah Masjid have found a striking similarity to Malegaon blasts of Sept. 8, 2006.
