Kids-Turned-Farmers Feed Their Teachers

MADINAH, 26 May 2007 — Teachers in a primary school here assigned students an education activity: They assigned them to become pint-sized farmers, the daily Al-Madinah reported yesterday. The kids planted beans and squash. The teachers also assigned themselves the duty of eating these nutritious assignments.

‘F’ for English ‘A’ for Honesty

ZULFI, 26 May 2007 — A student here discovered that the teacher had accidentally given him ten extra points on his English exam, the daily Al-Madinah reported yesterday. The kid went to his mentor and pointed out the mistake. As a result he failed his course, but received a certificate of achievement for being honest about it.
