YANBU, 28 June 2007 — Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu President Prince Saud ibn Abdullah yesterday received an Australian parliamentary delegation headed by Australian MP Peter Slipper. The two parties discussed bilateral talks and future investment opportunities in Jubail and Yanbu. Slipper praised the Kingdom’s development process and its recent steps in establishing two industrial cities in the Yanbu area.
Tourism Forum Begins Today
YANBU, 28 June 2007 — The Yanbu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YCCI) is holding “The Second Yanbu Tourism Forum” today at 10:30 a.m. at YCCI’s Radwa Ballroom. The event is being held in conjunction with other concerned sectors and participants will discuss a number of papers that will be presented by various bodies including the YCCI and the Royal Commission.
Summer Activity for Jail Inmates
MAKKAH, 28 June 2007 — More than 3,000 inmates from different prisons in Makkah yesterday partook in various summer events organized by the jail administration in Makkah. The events, which were officially inaugurated by Brig. Gen. Ateeh Al-Zahrani, consisted of different rehabilitation programs. “The aim of programs is to allow inmates to become good citizens.”
