When Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water becomes fully operational, it will be one of the key attractions for the visitors around the year especially during the grand prix formula one event in Bahrain.
It is forecast that visitors would increase 15 to 20 percent and make it the region’s one of the most attractive destinations. According to experts, the addition of Water Park to the tourist attractions in the Kingdom would give a new dimension to inbound tourism and aims to attract 300,000 visitors each year.
The latest figures show that tourism accounted for 6 to 7 percent of GDP as the Kingdom aims to increase its tourism income over the next seven years. The Kingdom projects to generate 10 percent of its GDP from tourism by 2014.
