King Receives Ramadan Greetings

JEDDAH, 14 September 2007 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah received greetings from various heads of states on the occasion of the beginning of the month-long Ramadan fasting yesterday.

Those who sent the greetings included King Abdallah of Jordan, Turkmenistan President Qurban Mohamadov, Tunisian President Zine El-Abidine Ben Ali, Kuwait’s Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Bahrain’s Prime Minister Khalifa Al-Khalifa and Sharjah Ruler Sultan Al-Qasmi.

Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, also received similar messages of greeting. The king and crown prince sent reply cables wishing them all good health and happiness, Saudi Press Agency reported yesterday.
