Kerala Stakes Claim for NRI University

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, 19 September 2007 — Kerala is keen to set up Pravasi University, the varsity for nonresident Indians proposed by the federal Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, in the state, according to Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan.

“We are keen to have it in our state and I assure you that we will provide all necessary infrastructure, and if needed we will give it for free,” Achuthanandan said.
