MILAN, Italy, 24 September 2007 — Vincenzo Iaquinta scored an 87th-minute equalizer yesterday to help Juventus draw with AS Roma 2-2 in the Serie A.
Iaquinta headed in Giorgio Chiellini’s cross after Francesco Totti scored twice in seven minutes to put AS Roma ahead 2-1. David Trezeguet headed in Juve’s first goal in the 17th - his 100th in Italy’s top division.
Also, Zlatan Ibrahimovic got his second double of the season as 10-man Inter Milan struggled to a 2-2 draw at last-place Livorno.
Ibrahimovic scored in the 35th and 72nd minutes — the second from the penalty spot — after Daniele De Vezze and Massimo Loviso had given Livorno the lead. Inter defender Maicon was sent off in the 81st for kicking Erjon Bogdani.
Later Sunday, Sampdoria played Genoa in the first Genoa derby in the Serie A in 12 years. Genoa won promotion from the Serie B last season.
Adrian Mutu scored his third goal in four games to lead Fiorentina 1-0 over Catania, and Riccardo Zampagna got an injury-time winner as Atalanta beat Lazio 2-1.
Also yesterday, it was: Cagliari 0, Palermo 1; Empoli 0, Napoli 0; and Torino 1, Siena 1.
At a packed Stadio Olimpico, Totti flicked the ball past Domenico Criscito in the 30th to create the opening for his first goal and tapped in his second, six minutes later, after Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon could only block Alberto Aquilani’s diagonal strike.
At the other end, Julio Cesar was kept busy by Loviso, who tested the Inter goalkeeper with a pair of powerful strikes in the first half. Ibrahimovic banged in Maicon’s assist to make it 1-1, and then slotted a penalty for 2-2, nine minutes after Loviso had scored with a penalty of his own.

Coach Grant Beaten at United
In London, Avram Grant lost his opening match as Chelsea’s coach after taking over from Jose Mourinho on Friday, with his side going down to 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League yesterday. Argentine Carlos Tevez scored his first goal for United when he dived in to head home a Ryan Giggs cross deep into stoppage time at the end of the first half.
Chelsea were already down to 10 men by then after referee Mike Dean’s controversial decision to send off John Obi Mikel after 32 minutes for a foul on Patrice Evra.
Newcastle United moved up from ninth to fifth after their 3-1 win over West Ham United at St James’ Park but England striker Michael Owen was substituted for the second successive match. At the other end of the table, Bolton Wanderers moved off the bottom after a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur, who stayed in 18th place. Robbie Keane put Spurs ahead after 34 minutes before Ivan Campo equalized five minutes later with a header from a freekick. Celtic Beaten by Hibs,
Rangers Go Top
In Glasgow, Rangers trounced Aberdeen 3-0 to go top of the Scottish Premier League yesterday after two blunders by Celtic keeper Artur Boruc sent the champions to a 3-2 defeat by Hibernian.
Rangers did all the damage in the second half, with goals from Lee McCulloch, Steven Naismith and Kris Boyd moving them on to 18 points, two more than second-placed Celtic.
McCulloch struck just 24 seconds into the second half, pouncing on a ball chested down by Gabon striker Daniel Cousin to crash a fabulous 35-meter volley high into the right of the net. Naismith then killed the game with a decisive second goal on his first start since signing from Kilmarnock.
