SONY CYBER-SHOT CAMERAS
Just smile, the camera will shoot automatically. It is Sony’s latest technique. Sony Gulf yesterday launched its latest cyber-shot cameras, T200 and T70 with new “Smile Shutter” function. “Both cameras shoot automatically when a smiling face is detected. Definitely, it won’t shoot automatically if the object is crying,” Osamu Miura, managing director, Sony Gulf, said. “Sony continues to lead the consumer digital camera market with innovative features such as the Smile shutter designed to capture the important part of a photo — the smile. Our new range of cyber-shot T cameras set the standard for consumer cameras in the market,” he said. Sony has developed the smile shutter technology for the first time. With Sony’s proprietary algorithm, the intelligent auto shutter system can detect a smiling face and activates the shooting mode. The key features of the cyber-shot cameras are: 8.1 effective mega pixels with BIONZ image processor, smile shutter, face detection, 3.5-inch (T200) / 3-inch (T70) 16:9 wide LCD touch screen display,’photo TV HD’ full HD image display on new Bravia TVs, double anti-blur with super steady shot and ISO 3200 high sensitivity, 5x optical zoom lens (T200).
