DUBAI, 29 November 2007 — Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of UAE and ruler of Dubai and president of Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), officially inaugurated the Dubai Center — London Business School yesterday at the DIFC.
“We are delighted to be the home of the Dubai Center of London Business School. The Dubai-London Executive MBA offered at the DIFC is a valued addition to the region, particularly the UAE. Our investment in education, geared toward creating an innovative, knowledge-based economy, has already borne fruit. The programs offered by London Business School through the DIFC Education Center, will provide further access to world-class executive education from one of the world’s leading business schools,” Sulaiman said.
Consistently ranked as one of the top business schools in the world by publications such as Financial Times and Business Week, London Business School was the first leading business school to launch an Executive MBA program as part of the DIFC Education Center, which was opened in December 2006.
