Empaynado’s delegation includes architect Angeline Chua of the board of architectuire of the PRC, Jovencio Palispo of the board of mechanical engineering, and DOLE representative Oscar Rosal.
The PRC is currently under the supervision of the Labor Department.
Some 200 examinees from the different fields earlier participated in the test given in Alkhobar on Dec. 20 and 21 for Filipinos in the Eastern and Central regions of the Kingdom.
Empaynado said the Jeddah examination was originally scheduled on Dec. 19 to 20 but it had to be deferred due to delays in the issuance of their visas.
The PRC last administered a board examination in the Kingdom in 2004. Held in Riyadh, the test was only for electrical and mechanical engineers.
