RIYADH - A group of hotel executives from Egypt made a presentation about the new "Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria," a beautiful property with a seafront tower, which has opened in Egypt's coastal resort city. Addressing a press conference here yesterday, Stephan Killinger, general manager of Four Seasons Alexandria, gave an overview of the new hotel, which has been built on a historical site of the ancient city.
Killinger, general manager of Four Seasons Alexandria, also spoke about the expansion plan under which the hotel is all set to own and operate private beach, a cluster of villas and many other amenities. He was addressing a press conference after a slide show, which explained the various facilities offered by that Alexandria-based hotel. The hotel, he said, has several restaurants including a Lebanese and an Italian restaurant.
The 118 guestrooms and suites of the hotel designed by French designer Pierre Yves Rochon, also offer private balconies and Roman-style marble bathrooms. The hotel, he said, has a fitness center, an infinity pool, a grand ballroom for up to 900 people, and a business center right in the heart of Alexandria. Killinger called on Saudis to visit Alexandria, the second largest city in Egypt and the legendary home of Cleopatra. "It is also a vibrant destination perched on the Mediterranean," said the Four Seasons chief.
Referring to the panoramic view of the hotel, he said that the guests can enjoy the sea view. "Rising from the once fabled San Stefano Hotel, Egypt's oldest establishment of hospitality, the Alexandria hotel rekindles those old days of glamour and glory," he noted.
