Sidelights: Sharp Woman Bites Back

MADINAH, 5 May 2008 — A woman in her 30s attacked a young man by biting and hitting him after he began to sexually harass her on Madinah’s Khaled ibn Al-Waleed Street. Police arrested the couple after the woman snapped following the man’s advances, Al-Watan newspaper reported. The woman claimed that the man, who was in his 20s, was harassing her and that she fought back by biting him. Police also found hashish in the man’s car.
