JEDDAH, 12 May 2008 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah yesterday held talks with Tony Blair, official envoy of the Quartet on the Middle East, at his palace in Riyadh. They discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace settlement in the region, the Saudi Press Agency said.
Meanwhile, King Abdullah discussed by telephone the latest developments in the region including Lebanon with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Bahrain's King Hamad ibn Isa Al-Khalifa, Jordan's King Abdallah and President Omar Al-Bashir of Sudan.
