THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, 31 May 2008 — Bahrain Air has launched its Kerala operations. Its inaugural flight arrived at the Cochin International Airport last week.
Ibrahim Al Hamer, managing director of Bahrain’s budget airline, said the company is starting with three flights a week, and would increase the frequency to daily flights from October.
“The non-stop service between Kochi and Bahrain marks the beginning of an expansion plan that will link the Indian sub-continent and the Middle East through our hub in Bahrain,” Hamer said.
