DARUSSALAM, a multilingual Islamic publishing house, is distinguished to have published translations and interpretations of the Noble Qur’an and other Islamic literature in not less than 20 languages.

It’s a world-class publisher and distributor, which has always been printing books of international standards: The books contain authentic text and research material in the light of Qur’an and Sunnah, which have been appreciated worldwide. In the Muslim world, in particular, Darussalam has become the symbol, and an accepted brand of authenticity in Islamic literature.

The organization is also known for its innovative and modern publishing techniques of books, especially meant for children and youth of different ages. Based in Riyadh, its branches and agents are spread across the major cities of the world.

Darussalam is, however, much beyond a mere publication house: It’s a spiritual house that considers it a sacred obligation to impart and propel the Word of Allah. Since its inception, Darussalam has been publishing interpretation of the meanings of the Noble Qur’an in several languages: English, Urdu, Spanish, French, Malayalam, Albanian, Tagalog (Filipino), Pushto and Bengali.

The organization has so far published around 1,000 Islamic titles in 20 different languages. The most recent project in the series is the translation of Six Sahih Hadith books in English language: The first of the six books, complete and available in the market, is Sahih Bukhari in nine volumes, 4,280 pages, followed by Sunan Ibn Majah, in five volumes, 2,678 pages. Thereafter, the complete translation of Sahih Muslim in seven volumes, 3,758 pages, Sunan At-Tirmidhi, six volumes, Sunan An-Nasa’i, six volumes, and Sunan Abu Dawud, five volumes. Each of the volumes contains more than 530 pages.

The project is nearly complete, according to Abdul Malik Mujahid, the general manager of Darussalam Publications. Some of the most valued books are Atlas Al-Qur’an and Atlas Al-Seerah in Urdu and English, which contain old and new maps of all the places, mentioned in the Qu’ran and Seerah. Yet another book, Atlas of Islamic Victories, specifies all the maps of Islamic wars and battles.

To its credits, Darussalam has prepared easy-to-learn books for small children of young age in attractive and colorful format, which give them knowledge about basics of Islam.
