RIYADH: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company, received Gocha Japaridze, the Georgian Ambassador to the GCC countries, at his office here. Both discussed economic and investment issues. The ambassador presented a number of investment opportunities in the hotel and tourism sectors in Georgia to the prince. Prince Alwaleed welcomed the opportunity stating that Georgia is a beautiful country and investing there brings positive returns to both sides. He asked Ambassador Japaridze to convey his cordial regards to the people and president of Georgia. Prince Alwaleed had visited the city of Tbilisi, capital of Georgia earlier this year. The visit was in response to an official invitation from the country's president who along with the first lady hosted a dinner ceremony in honor of the prince and his spouse.
