JEDDAH: A sizeable number of Pakistanis gathered here on Thursday to pay their tributes to the innocent victims of Oct. 18, 2007, blast in Karachi. Special prayers were organized at the residence of Sehar Kamran, acting principal of Pakistan International School, (English section), for those killed in the deadly attack.

Two suicide attacks targeting former Premier Benazir Bhutto had killed at least 150 people in Karachi on Oct. 18 last year, just hours after she had returned to Pakistan for the first time in eight years. Benazir miraculously escaped injuries and possible death because she had only moments earlier got into her slow-moving armored plated truck.

Sehar, who had accompanied Benazir from Dubai to Karachi on the fateful day, and who was also injured in the attack, relived the horror.
