Call to ease traffic at Dammam port

DAMMAM: Asharqiya Chamber has urged authorities to adopt immediate and effective measures to tackle the overcrowding of shipments at King Abdul Aziz Port. Adnan bin Abdullah Al-Naeem, secretary-general of the chamber, said radical solutions were required to end the crisis.

“We have invited the presidents of Saudi Ports Authority and Saudi Railways Organization and director general of customs to discuss ways to facilitate loading and unloading at the port,” he said.
