RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has ordered the establishment of a referral hospital for children's chronic and complicated diseases including the separation of conjoined twins at the King Abdul Aziz Medical City of the National Guard.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, CEO of Health Affairs at the National Guard, who also headed the medical team that conducted the separation of Iraqi conjoined twins on Saturday, said in a press meeting that the new medical facility would be called King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital. The separation of the Iraqi twins was the 20th such operation conducted in the National Guard hospital.
