RIYADH: Mobily announced yesterday that Diet Center, a health food chain, and Maghrabi Optics, have joined its list of strategic partners in the Neqati program.

Subscribers to the program can turn their accumulated points into cash, allowing them to get into a diet and buy health food from Diet Center, or purchase high-quality optics from Maghrabi.

The two companies joined Mobily’s partners as two of the leading outlets in their fields, and because they are very famous all over the Kingdom, making it convenient for Mobily’s subscribers to take advantage of their services.

Diet Center’s main branch is in Riyadh, with many more outlets in Jeddah, Dammam, Alkhobar and Qassim, in addition to many other sales outlets known by the brand “Diet Shop.”

Maghrabi has outlets across the Kingdom and all other GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries, as well as Yemen, Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon, with a total of 130 branches.

Mobily said earlier that each riyal a subscriber pays for its services equals one point. Subscribers can then convert these points into services, such as national and international SMS messages, free Internet or free voice minutes once 750 points are accumulated. Once the balance hits 1,000 points, phone bills start to get lower and lower. At 5,000 points, they can be exchanged for SR250, or SR400 for 7,500 points, SR600 for 10,000 points, and SR975 for 15,000 points. Twenty thousand points are worth SR1,500 of goodies.

The program is open to prepaid and postpaid subscribers by default, without any need to request or activate the service. Subscribers get 100 free points a year into their subscription, and those who convert their prepaid lines into postpaid ones get free points. Those who pay their bills early get points for 10 percent of the bill’s value.
