DAMMAM: The Dammam Chapter of Navodaya Cultural Center, an organization of Indian expatriates in Saudi Arabia, condemned the Israeli massacre of Palestinians in Gaza. “We join the growing worldwide protest against the war crimes being committed by Israeli forces in the Palestinian territory and reject the impunity of the Israel state and its backers,” Navodaya said in a statement.
The organization urged India to protest the cruel Israeli aggression. “It’s a shame that the Indian government is showing double standards on the issue,” Navodaya officials said.
Navodaya has launched a weeklong blood donation campaign to collect blood for Palestinians injured in Israeli bombardment and gunfire. It has opened blood donation centers in Al-Ahsa, Dammam, Jubail and Qatif. “We Indians express our solidarity with Palestinians, because Palestine has always been India’s best friend,” the statement said.
