SMARTPOOLS LLC launched on Wednesday the first of its kind swimming pool in the UAE.
On the launch, Abdul Rahman Al-Nuaimi, chairman of SmartPools LLC, said: “Technology is revolutionizing the way we work out.

The SmartPool is basically a swimming treadmill that offers a smooth, adjustable current that allows you to swim in the same place, akin to running on a conventional treadmill. It measures 15 by 8 feet and takes up only 130 square feet of built-up space and is the ideal solution for the UAE where land comes at a premium.
A product powered by Ascenteus Malaysia’s SmartPool Technology, it uses the latest technology that is superior to any other option available in the international market.
The patented SmartPool with its stunning aesthetics, aims to provide villa owners and others with a very innovative lifestyle and fitness solution. Al-Nuaimi explained: “SmartPools offers a volume driven water propulsion system as opposed to a pressure driven system.
Water in the pool moves as a river does, at over 30,000 liters per minute. As a result the swimmer strokes in one place moving against an even current and gets a concentrated workout.”
The first SmartPool has been installed at Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah. Jean Pierre Simon, regional general manager of Coral Beach Resort said: “We are delighted to be the first hotel in the UAE to have the SmartPool. It will offer our guests the perfect solution for water exercise and family fun.”

SmartPools currently offers three different SmartPools packages: SmartPool Arena Standard, SmartPools Arena Premium and X-Lane.
SmartPools Arena Standard comes with the Laminar Propulsion System and filtration assembly.
SmartPools Arena Premium offers extensive accessories such as LED Lights and Jacuzzi Jets.
