JEDDAH: The American International School of Jeddah (AISJ) is to hold next week its annual family carnival, which is expected to be attended by over 5,000 visitors and include lots of family activities.
Organizers say the event will feature food vendors, an Arabian village featuring a Hejazi folklore troupe, and camel and pony rides.
The event will also include a bazaar selling handmade items and local crafts, a car show, a large carnival area filled with games for all ages, and a raffle with prizes including a car, airline tickets and electronic items.
Funds from the event will be used to build a new facility. The event has been organized in conjunction with the Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA), pupils and staff. Tickets are available at the AISJ.
The AISJ is a nonprofit school for all children from KG through high school. To maintain its status and grow with quality education, the school is continually seeking out additional sources of revenue. To that end, the AISJ hosts many fundraiser activities.
