Consulate hosts reception for Dar Al Hekma College students

JEDDAH: The Consulate General of India hosted a reception for Dar Al Hekma College students participating in the Bremen International Model United Nations (BRIMUN) Conference 2009 being held in Bremen, Germany, from April 5-9.

Six students of the college are leaving today for the conference to join their counterparts from an assortment of world universities.

“Eradicating poverty and hunger as a precondition for stable democratic societies, and democratic approaches to coping with the global economic crisis will be among the subjects Faiza Rizvi will discuss.

The six students include three Saudis, an Indian, a Pakistani and an Eritrean.

“BRIMUN is an opportunity to explore the nuances of international relations meet people from all over the world, experience thrilling social events, enjoy provocative lectures and get to know Germany and more,” Consul General Sayeed Ahmed Baba said.
