MAKKAH: The Department of Health Affairs in Makkah closed down a dental clinic on Sunday that was operating without a license. The clinic was also found to be hiring foreign workers from a different sponsor and was employing undocumented workers as cleaners.
Some of the workers fled as officials raided the establishment. The clinic was also fabricating crowns illegally because it had no specialist on staff. Officials responded to a report from a man who had paid SR5,000 for shoddy service. He complained to officials after the clinic refused to refund the money he had paid.
