MAKKAH: The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Makkah came to the aid of a 40-year-old woman who was being blackmailed by a young man.
The woman complained to the commission saying that the man threatened to post her pictures on the Internet unless she paid him large sums of money.
The commission set up a sting operation whereby the woman agreed to pay whatever the man demanded. When he showed up to collect the money, commission members took him into custody.
