RIYADH: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company, hosted a dinner in honor of Radion Popov, Bulgarian deputy minister of foreign affairs, on Saturday at Kingdom Resort.
The two leaders discussed the latest regional and international issues and the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Bulgaria.
Prince Alwaleed was briefed on the investment opportunities in Bulgaria especially in the hospitality sector. Popov extended an invitation to Prince Alwaleed from his country's vice president to visit Bulgaria. Popov was taken on a tour of Kingdom Projects and Rotana in Riyadh. The tour included visits to Kingdom Schools, Kingdom City, Kingdom Hospital and Kingdom Center.
Prince Alwaleed has invested in Bulgaria's banking sector through Citigroup.
