RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah on Tuesday ordered relief aid to refugees in Sri Lanka. The Finance Ministry said Saudi Arabian Airlines would airlift the relief supplies ordered by the king to Colombo. The first relief flight will leave on Wednesday and the second on Friday.
Swine flu toll 137
RIYADH: Twelve new cases of swine flu were reported in various parts of the Kingdom on Tuesday, bringing the total number of people infected with H1N1 virus to 137, the Ministry of Health announced. The new victims included six Saudis and six expatriates.
Fishermen held
TABUK: Border guards in Tabuk have arrested nine fishermen for violating the Kingdom’s marine borders. The men were found in a boat in Shaab Abu Saddain along the Red Sea coast, said Lt. Col. Abdullah Al-Ghareer, spokesman for the Border Guard in Tabuk. He said the fishermen were not carrying any contraband.
