Woman gunned down in Abha

ABHA: Asir police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old woman Sunday afternoon allegedly by the 44-year-old ex-wife of the victim’s husband. The woman also took the victim’s four-year-old daughter hostage. Gen. Obaid Al-Khammash, head of Asir police, said special police forces broke in and rescued the child. The woman is suspected to have psychological problems and is under observation by mental health officials.
