New street names approved

JEDDAH: Jeddah Mayor Adel Faqieh has approved 360 names for streets and alleys in eight residential quarters in the city. The director in charge of names and numbers at the municipality, Murad Al-Hakam, said a special committee has been set up for the purpose. The committee comprises a number of authors, writers, university lecturers, specialists and other men of experience. The committee proposes street names and submits them to the Ministry of Rural and Municipal Affairs for final approval.
