Sex braggart did not resist: Police

JEDDAH: Jeddah police spokesman Lt. Col. Suleiman Al-Mutawae denied reports posted on some websites that the police team that arrested Mazen Abdul Jawad, the man who boasted about his sex life on an LBC program, met with resistance from some people while making the arrest. Al-Mutawae told Arab News that criminal investigators and other authorities arrested Abdul Jawad and the two friends who had also appeared in the segment from an apartment in Jeddah. The Prosecution and Investigations Commission is now investigating whether Abdul Jawad will face a judge for publicizing (tash'hir) vice.
