TAIF: Taif police arrested 11 people including women for illegal company at a rest house in the Rihab district in the northwest of Taif city during the early hours of Thursday.
The arrested people included five Saudi men, five Indonesian women and an expatriate driver. The police entered the rest house following a tip-off that a make-shift night club with singing and dancing was being conducted at the rest house and people were seen visiting the facility during the night, a police source said. "Police found them singing and dancing in a state of intoxication and the women were not properly clothed,” police spokesman Maj. Muhammad Al-Ghowaidi told Arab News.
Police also seized a number of bottles of locally brewed liquor from the place. Some of the Saudis were 50 years old. Al-Hawiya police are investigating the incident.
