JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah arrived back in the Kingdom Wednesday evening from Casablanca, Morocco. The king was received by Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Naif, Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, other prices, ministers and officials at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah. The king left for Morocco on July 23 to visit Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, who is convalescing in the Moroccan city of Agadir, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
In another development, the king sent an invitation to Sudanese President Omar Bashir to attend the official opening of the King Abdullah University for Science and Technology.
